The shop will be closed for Thanksgiving Wednesday and Thursday, November 26 and 27 for the holiday.  We will be open our normal hours on Friday and Saturday. 

The store will be closed Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 1.  We will be open our normal hours on Monday, November 3. 

Our first Monday sale for November 3 will be all yarn that stripes or is variegated will be 25% off.

Samantha Anne arrived last night weighing in at 9 lbs 1 oz and 21 1/2″ in length.  Mom and daughter are doing well.

As most of you know Jenn our friend and employee is scheduled to give birth to Samantha Anne September 20.  Just for fun we are having a contest to guess Samantha’s arrival.  The person closest to the time and date will receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the store.  You can post your guess here, on Ravelry under the shop link or you can come by the store and give us a written guess.  Don’t wait to long to decide as it could be any minute!!

Yarns Ewenique will be closed Friday, July 4 for Independence Day. We hope you all have a wonderful day with your families. We will be open our normal hours on Saturday.

We also would like to remind everyone to check the class schedule for July and August. We have a beginning knitting kids camp starting July 14, a sweater construction class starting July 31 just to name a few.

Yarns Ewenique has agreed to become a designated drop off site for Project Linus.  Project Linus is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization that provides love, security and warmth to children through the gifts of new handmade blankets or afghans.  For more information go to www.projectlinus.org.

We would like to encourage our customers to contribute to Project Linus and since it seems to be the baby season, i.e. our own Jenn and her husband are expecting in September, our first Monday sale, June 2, will be 25% off all yarn for use in baby projects.

On another note, Saturday, June 14, is World Wide Knit In Public day.  Yarns Ewenique would like to invite all our customers and their friends to join us at the park across the street from the shop. Bring your knitting, blankets, chairs and drinks and from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. join us in the celebration.  The first twenty people to arrive at Veterans Memorial Park will receive an exclusive Yarns Ewenique water bottle.

We wanted to let you know there has also been a schedule change.  We will be having Knitting Fairy University on June 3.
